Creating Meals when there is ‘Nothing to Eat’

Are you constantly running to the store to buy more ingredients, or resorting to eating out because there is ‘nothing to eat in the house’? Or perhaps your senior is getting ready to go off to college and needs to learn some final tips and tricks to cooking meals. Come together and learn tips to help you make cooking at home the cheap and easy choice, while having fun cooking together.
In this series we will learn skills to make cooking at home easier, learn tips to waste less food, and make cooking easier, cheaper, and more fun. Classes are each Saturdays from 2:00-4:00 pm. Classes cost $5/person. Sign up for all, or just a couple.
Spices and Flavors: learn how to uses spices and flavors without a recipe, March 7
Meat: learn different methods of cooking meat and when you use each method, March 14
Fruits and Vegetables: learn how to use fruits and vegetables, in delicious ways, before it goes bad and ends up in the trash. March 21
