Artist Talk with Tiffany Deater

December 4 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us in our Cook Auditorium for a conversation with award-winning independent filmmaker Tiffany Deater. Deater’s work aims to connect the viewer with other forms of life, sometimes by journeying through their perspectives to help us re-imagine our relationships with animals, the environment, and one another. In this talk, she’ll show her experimental videos, No Real Distance, Kansas Ice Storm, and Tornado Lake, and discuss her process and inspiration, followed by a Q&A. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public.

Deater’s work will be on view in the Wapiti Gallery as part of the exhibit, Tiffany Deater: What Lives Underneath, November 8th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026.
